Curious Jarod is the fourth episode of the first season of The Pretender which first aired October 26, 1996 on NBC in the United States.
It features an appearance by recurring guest star Jon Gries as Broots.
Recap[]
Intending to catch a murderer, Jarod goes to Las Vegas, Nevada, and joins a casino's security crew. In between plotting the downfall of the murderer, Jarod takes time to visit the victim, Maggie Blair, who has been in a coma before she is eventually passes away. He attempts to pay Maggie's medical bill, which leads him to find out more details about the case, and the attacker's history of violence. He is also on a quest to find out who is the man in the yellow hat featured in the Curious George book. After accomplishing his goals, he is almost captured by Miss Parker and Sydney. She even states that it's her lucky day, right before Jarod convinces two of the security staff members to arrest his pursuers and escapes. Jarod also meets an Elvis impersonator.
